Overview of the role

To be responsible for developing and implementing talent management processes, including Annual Talent Reviews, Selection Assessments, Internal Mobility, and Succession Planning. The role will lead an indirect project team comprised of talent managers across all businesses and geographies to drive consistency and alignment in all talent activities across the Group.

 

What you will do

Conduct group wide annual Talent Review to assess and identify high potential talent Band H and above
Responsible for developing and monitoring leadership assessments for selection and development
Own, communicate and embed the Al Futtaim Leadership Competencies into all HR and business processes/systems
Embed/manage Group Coaching Programme into Talent Process
Design/Pilot/Implement Internal Mobility programme
Oversee and Implement Succession Planning System as part of iGrow
Support high impact actions to increase the development and retention of all leadership talent, including nationals.
Ensures timely and flawless process and document output of all business and group level talent reviews, finding opportunities to simplify and streamline whenever possible. Coordinates and counsels HR community and line managers as needed in execution of the talent review process. Conducts and presents post-talent review analysis. Develops and maintains process to fill critical positions and facilitate top talent development moves. Proactively conducts analysis and presents recommendations to improve talent decisions.
Responsible for creating and maintaining Talent Demand Inventory and Succession for critical positions, reporting status and recommendations to senior leadership regularly. Partners with TM team to assess/recommend opportunities to match top talent to critical positions.
Creates and reports TM Key Performance Indicators regularly. Provides analysis and recommendations to ensure impact and results to the TM scorecard imperatives. Provides analysis as requested by Corporate or Divisional needs.
Responsible for developing and monitoring leadership assessments for selection and development
Serves as Group practice lead for leadership selection processes, tools and methodologies including selection assessments, executive on-boarding
Conducts analysis to extract insights and provides recommendations to improve the quality of talent development processes at the Group level.
Partners with Head of Group Learning & Development to proactively conduct analysis and present recommendations to improve talent development decisions.
Supports learning nomination process with required, quality analysis and data as requested.

What equips you for the role

5 to 10 years of experience in Talent Management, Development & HR Project Management in a regional capacity
Proven track record in improving performance and managing the succession planning agenda
Solid experience in ERP systems – well versed with various talent modules
Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Management
Certificate in Business Consultancy/ British Psychological Society Qualification in Occupational Testing- Ability & Personality
