Overview of the role:
The role of the performance manager/specialist is to launch and develop region-specific acquisition strategies that drive traffic, grow sales, enhance customer experience and builds brand awareness across Marks & Spencer in the Middle East and Asia. This role will be instrumental in terms of managing and optimising performance channels, working closely with the brand marketing team and agencies to maximise acquisition channels, conversion paths and website performance while creating and maintaining reports, notes, analysis and research
What you will do:-
Description of Accountability:
You will be responsible for implementing and analysing paid search, Display, paid social campaigns, performance marketing across Marks & Spencer using Google and Social Media Advertising tools (Ad words / 360, merchant centre etc, FB Business Manager etc..)
You will be an expert on the latest advertising trends and technologies and will be able to manage multi-channels/networks budgets to meet Revenue Targets as well as different KPIs Targeting and bidding strategies are part of the day to day and how to optimise them
The role will work in collaboration with CRM team and Central group digital team to optimise activity and support digital team with management of EDM program. It will also involve working with graphic designers to brief artwork concepts to support digital formats and support marketing strategies for third party marketplace partners
The role is for someone open minded to with an appetite to learn and a solution provider
You are genuinely interested and experienced in SEM and performance marketing and develop appetite to learn more, optimise your campaigns performance and use various networks and platforms (Business Manager Retargeting, Programmatic, etc.)
Manage day to day PPC and Paid Social campaigns
Upper or lower funnel based on KPIs
Delivering performance reports and insights to the performance team and internal stakeholders
Strategy & optimization
Identifying growth opportunities, testing hypotheses to improve performance and paid channels traffic and increase ROAS
Delivering customer-focused, profitable multi-category campaigns to agreed targets
Addressing and escalating campaign performance issues.
Responsible for AB tests, Search Query analysis and keyword mining
Work closely with CRM team around content output and support EDM set up
Briefing artwork & copy to support strategy & optimise
Support marketing strategies for third party marketplace partners
Required Skills to be successful:-
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing data-driven campaigns that drive exceptional ROI both on a direct basis, as well as longer term brand metrics.
Establish, implement and measure the effectiveness of digital paid advertising initiatives to drive customers to locally relevant websites
Drive digital branding initiatives, specially on YouTube Video Ads, social media channels for relevant markets and have a full understanding of the digital branding metrics.
Have solid knowledge of all performance marketing tactics across multiple advertising channels. (Display / SEM / Paid Social / App).
Develop, execute and optimise every aspect of paid channels/campaigns (keyword development, ad copywriting, audience segmentation, bid management, budget monitoring, etc.)
Analyse paid marketing KPIs by channel/campaign and dynamically reallocate the budget to maximize the KPIs.
Contribute to setting the marketing plan for each country and forecasting targets and KPIs for paid marketing channels.
Be in constant coordination with all marketing, design & branding teams.
Provide periodic campaign performance, forecasts and trend data analysis.
PPC and Paid social Bid Management tools (FB Manager, Adwords, Marin, GA36, ROI Hunter, Smartly)
Web analytics experience (Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst).
Experience in Retargetting platforms (Criteo, RTB)
Experience in App platforms & app installs (Adjust, Taptica, Apple search ads, Moblin, Inmobi)
Comfortable using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Experience using a CDP is a plus

5+ years in performance marketing (PPC, programmatic and Paid Social) and 10 years in the field.

Analytical skills, from knowledge of tracking tools such as Google Analytics, to understanding the digital marketing and branding KPIs
